Fuentes Sifuentes is an artistic research project by Alicia Anaïs Fuentes Sifuentes exploring family history, memory and cultural belonging. It begins with autobiographical research in which personal narratives, family documents and connections to Peru meet different movement practices. Breaking and Danza de las Tijeras play a particular role.
In their collaboration, Alicia and Sām explore how biographical and documentary material can be translated into choreographic forms. Their work also considers the relationship between personal memory and collective history, as well as the different cultural and aesthetic contexts of the movement languages.
Sām Sabor provides dramaturgical support for the research and assists Alicia in developing and preparing funding applications. Their collaboration began in 2026; the artistic research is planned for 2027.
